PEARSON

John Earnest Pearson, of Sargent, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2011. John was also known as “T-John”, “Bama”, & “Crimson Tide”. Whatever name his many friends knew him by, he didn’t care. He always greeted us with a big friendly smile. T-John was born in Alabama on October 3, 1957. His love of Alabama & Alabama football stayed with him even after many years here in Texas, moving here in the early 1990’s. T-John was preceded in death by his father, Houston Leslie Pearson; his mother, Billie Jeanette Pennesi & a sister, Patricia Ann Pearson. He is survived by 2 daughters, Danielle Gail Pearson & Gabrielle Ann Pearson-Smithey, both of Missouri. Also surviving him are 5 siblings: Renate Layson, Houston “Buddy” Pearson II, Jeanette Simmons & Tony Pearson, all of Alabama & Kem Ainsworth of Huffman, Texas. He will be cremated, with his ashes spread in both Sargent & Alabama. Along with his native Alabama & Alabama football, T-John loved to fish & drink his iced tea. He was happy here in Sargent among his many friends. His parting has left us deeply saddened. He brightened our lives & we will miss him.

To t-Johns’ Friends & Family . .
I have known John for many years. I was friends with his mother. I know that John had a lot of friends, but I would like you to know just what a special guy he was. Last summer, I suffered from a pinched nerve in my back. As a result, I had trouble walking, driving & just dealing with life in general. John was at my house every day. He drove me to the doctor, he carried out my garbage – he even washed my dishes for me! He was a good man & a loyal friend. I am heartbroken at his untimely death & I, like you, will miss him.
